Part A) Donation

The donation will be transferred to different local Conservation organisation who show us for which projects the money will be used. Only conservation project in Tropical North Queensland to protect the Southern Cassowary and his habitat will be accepted. Every 3 month the received donation will be transferred. 20% of the donation will be kept for general administration.

We keep all donors and other registered persons with a regular sent e-mail newsletter informed about the donated amount, which project it will be used for and also the success of projects.

Part B) Sales of Items

All the items offered for sale on the Web-App are used to collect money for different conservation projects. The profit from the sale will be donated to different local Conservation organisation who show us for which projects the money will be used. To keep “Cassowary Trail's” prices down without compromising the quality of our products, we need to keep our administrative costs as low as possible. We can achieve this with your help and understanding of our simple payment terms and conditions. Before proceeding with your order, we would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions outlined below, as well as our privacy policy. These terms and conditions apply to the sale of all and any items offered in this Web-App. Variations or cancellations of these conditions shall not be binding unless agreed to by „Cassowary Trail“ in writing.

1.Acceptance The purchaser/donor agrees to accept these terms and conditions by placing his/her order with “„Cassowary Trail“”.

  1. Warranty This warranty does not cover damage due to neglect, misuse, abuse or accident. The purchaser agrees to pay for the freight of any goods to be returned under this warranty and to contact “„Cassowary Trail“ before returning goods under this warranty to receive a return authorization.

  2. Return Policy „Cassowary Trail“ ensures that your order is packaged and handled with due care. However if you received a damaged, defective or incorrect item you may return any of the items purchased from „Cassowary Trail“ has to be reported within 5 days of delivery. A fully refund can only be granted if „Cassowary Trail“ sent an incorrect item. Any refused shipments will be charged at 20% restocking fee and credited less the original shipping costs. Important: Please contact „Cassowary Trail“ prior to returning any goods at info@cassowarytrail.com.au. The cost of return freight will be the purchaser’s responsibility. All other goods will be replaced free of charge. We will only issue refunds for the return of items that have no signs of obvious use.

  3. Prices All recommended prices quoted on this website are in Australian dollars, incl.GST and exclusive of shipping and handling fees. Overseas orders by credit card will use the exchange rate on the day they are charged, which might vary from the exchange rate on the day of order. International visitors wishing to calculate the equivalent in their own currency, can do so online. For currency conversion please visit The Universal Currency Converter website to determine the exact amount for your order when converting to or from AU$. Note: Your bank may charge conversion fees upon placement of the order, this is not controlled by „Cassowary Trail“ nor its agreement with PayPal for use of Merchant facilities on this website.

  4. Stock Delivery We usually ship your order within 2 -3 business days. But please allow up to 14 working days for delivery of your order, just in case we do not have your requested item in stock. In this case you will receive a notification e-mail. If you would like to check the delivery time for a particular item please contact us.

  5. Orders All items are sold on a no refund basis.

  6. Payment Terms Please Note: Payments are due in full on placement of order. Your order will only be dispatched once your payment has been received. We offer several options you can choose from to pay for your products: - we will contact you on receipt of your order to confirm your payment and delivery details. The accepted payment method depend on the 3party payment channels listed at the check-out.

Note: Transfer Fees and Shipping Fees are not included in our unit prices. The Fees will be shown at the Check out or also indicated in the shop. If necessary we will contact you on receipt of your order to quote your shipping fees based on the quantities you order.

  1. Delivery Terms & Shipping Fees All freight charges (including freight charges involved in warranty claims) are the responsibility of the customer. „Cassowary Trail“ delivers Australia wide using the services of Australia Post, and Couriers. Overseas delivery used to be done by Australian Post courier international or an other Courier. All freight charges quoted does not include an insurance.

Freight charges vary according to destination and the size and weight of the parcel. Freight is calculated at the checkout and cost depends on the method of shipping you select to use at the point of sale. We do not seek to profit from postage charges and only charge you what you would pay if you were shipping the item yourself.

Express Post: If sent by express, the parcel will be given a unique tracking number by the Australian Post. In rural and regional areas of Australia, delivery times for Express Parcel Services are in respect of delivery to the Post Office of the principal township in that area. Delivery to final destinations may take longer. If in doubt please check with your local Post Office. If you don't receive the parcel in the mentioned timeframe please contact „Cassowary Trail“ for tracking the parcel.

International orders: „Cassowary Trail“ is based in Mareeba, Queensland, Australia. We will happily ship purchases overseas using Australia Post Courier international or Courier Companies, e.g. Fedex, UPS, DHL., all methods are fully traceable.

Please note: if a country isn’t listed in our shipping list or the item exceed a certain measurement you will get a short information message. In this case please contact us the by e-mail info@cassowarytrail.com.au.

  1. Customs Duty Customs (importation duty) laws and the application of these regulations - vary widely from country to country, state to state - even from time to time. „Cassowary Trail“ does not accept responsibility for payment of customs duty should it be levied in the customer's country. If applicable, the customer is fully responsible for payment of locally imposed importation duty. If you are asked to pay importation duty, you may be able to get the ruling changed by pointing out the nature of the goods.

  2. Availability of Goods In the case of any product being temporarily out of stock, „Cassowary Trail“ will inform the customer and supply as soon as new stock is available.

  3. Error and Omissions Even though considerable care has been taken with the preparation of all information and prices on this site, „Cassowary Trail“ will not be held responsible for typographical or other errors or omissions regarding prices or any information given.

  4. Images Item images are to be used as a guide only. The actual product may vary slightly in color, size or a number of aspects.
